Non Dairy Creamer

Yields

About 500 ml

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds soaked in water overnight or for a day
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 pitted date optional
  • A dash of pure vanilla or cinnamon essence (optional)

Directions:

  1. Drain and rinse the soaked raw almonds. Remove the skin.
  2. In a blender blend the water, almonds, and date at high speed until a smooth creamy consistency is attained.
  3. In a container strain out the creamer using a cheesecloth.
  4. Avoid the above extracts and date if you wish to enjoy plain, unsweetened creamer.
  5. Store in an airtight glass blottle in the fridge

Notes:

  • Almond skin can be left on the almonds to get a more nuttier flavor.
  • Almonds can be replaced with cashew nuts.
  • You can even play around with other nuts to see which creamer you enjoy the most.
  • Or you can have creamer with different nut flavors, almond creamer has the most neutral flavor.
  • More dates can be added for a sweeter option.
