Coconut Macaroons – Spicy

12 Macaroons

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsps white milk butter or coconut butter
  • 2/3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1/1/4 cups of shredded coconut (unsweetened)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 165°C (329°F)
  2. In a saucepan over low heat mix to blend together the butter, honey, cinnamon and cloves
  3. Remove mixture from the saucepan and mix very well together with the shredded coconut using a spatula
  4. Make little mounds, the size of a tablespoon and place onto the baking sheet
  5. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and let them cool off
  6. Once cooled if they are crumbly freeze them before serving
  7. You can play around adding spices of your choice
