Capsicum Tofu Sauté

Ingredients

  • 1 big chopped red capsicum
  • 1 big chopped green capsicum
  • 1 big chopped yellow capsicum
  • 1 cube hard tofu chopped into small cubes
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp thick mushroom soy sauce
  • Fresh coarsely ground black pepper

Directions:

  • Roast tofu in a hot nonstick ceramic pan till slightly brown and then remove to a bowl
  • Add the chopped capsicums to the pan and stir around
  • Add both the soy sauces and a bit of water
  • Now put back the roasted tofu, sprinkle a little water
  • Cover to cook till the capsicums are done (do not overcook)
  • Put the coarsely grounded black pepper and mix well

Notes:

It is important to put the tofu into a hot pan, else they stick & break
