Ingredients
- 6 medium-size potatoes boiled and chopped
- ½ cup of carrots boiled and chopped
- ½ cup of corn boiled
- ½ cup of peas boiled
- ½ cup oats, grounded
- 1 bunch of fresh coriander chopped
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh green chilies
- 2 tbsp of ginger finely chopped
- 2 tbsp of sesame seeds roasted
- 1 tbsp of flax seeds grounded
- 1 tbsp sea salt or as per taste
- 1 tsp of cumin powder
- 1 tsp of coriander powder
- 1 tsp of mango powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper or as per taste
- Cooking coconut oil or ghee, as required
Directions:
- In a bowl add all the ingredients (except the oil) and mash together.
- Divide the mashed ingredients into balls and press gently into the patty shapes.
- Heat about a tbsp of ghee or cooking coconut oil in a skillet or a flat-concave frying pan on medium heat.
- Gently place together 3 or 4 patties and cook them for about 3 – 5 minutes on both sides until crispy and brown.
- Serve hot immediately and enjoy with your favorite chutneys or dips.
Notes:
- You can use any vegetables which are locally available and which you fancy and enjoy more.
