Vegan Mayonnaise

Enjoy this homemade healthy mayonnaise with just four ingredients!

Making Time:

  • 5 minutes

Yields

  • 1 ½ cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup light olive oil.
  • ½ cup soy milk, unsweetened
  • 2 tsp regular vinegar
  • ½ tsp sea salt or more as per preference

Directions:

  • Except for the oil blend all the ingredients in a blender for a few seconds.
  • Then keep adding in the oil bit by bit and keep on blending at slow speed.
  • Stop blending once the oil and milk have mixed together (emulsified) well.
  • Enjoy and refrigerate the leftover in the fridge

Notes:

  • You can use any neutral-tasting oil.
  • Do not use coconut oil as it will solidify in the fridge.
  • You can use any other plant milk, however, soy milk works the best.
  • If it becomes too thick add more oil.
  • If it becomes too liquidy add more milk.
  • When preparing the mayonnaise the temperature of the milk and the oil must be the same.
  • You can add any herbs and spices to play around to create your own flavored mayonnaise!
