Nowadays people avoid fried foods. Here is an alternative with plantains (raw bananas, which are full of potassium)

Ingredients
- 4 medium-size plantains (raw banana) sliced evenly. You may slice the plantains diagonally for longer size chips
- 2 tbsp cooking coconut oil, butter or oil of your preference
- 1 tsp cinnamon (you can play around with other flavors of your choice)
Directions:
- Apply the oil and cinnamon or (flavors of your choice) to the sliced plantains
- Line the baking tray with a parchment paper and place the chips evenly on it
- Bake in a preheated 350°F / 177°C oven for about 30 minutes until chips turns golden brown at the edges
- At about 15 minutes (midway time of baking do flip the chips to bake well on both sides
- When done allow to cool on a paper towel (non-chlorinated) to soak up any extra oil or butter
Notes:
You can store them in an airtight container. After a day or so if soggy you can re-crisp them by baking for about 5-10 minutes
