Mango Overnight Oats

Healthy, quick, and easy breakfast all can make and enjoy.

Making Time

8 hours (Prep time 8 hours, making time 5 minutes)

Yields

2 servings

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup of soy, almond, cashew, or milk of your preference
  • ¾ cup of rolled oats
  • ½ cup of water
  • ¼ cup of coconut flakes
  • 1 banana cut into round slices
  • 1 mango cut into cubes
  • 1 ½ tbsp chia seeds
  • pinch of cinnamon (if you prefer)
  • Nuts and seeds of your preference
  • Maple syrup or raw honey if necessary to sweeten

Directions:

  • In a glass bowl mix together, milk, rolled oats, water, cinnamon, and honey or maple. Close with a lid and keep in the fridge overnight or for eight hours.
  • After 8 hours remove the oats from the fridge. Pour into two serving bowls. Top with mango, bananas, coconut flakes, nuts, and seeds.
  • You can use any fruits and nuts/seeds of your preference. It is best to use local seasonal fruits.

Notes:

If you are using steel-cut oats, place them in boiling water for about 10 minutes. Drain water and then use them.
