Ingredients
- 1 cup of soy, almond, cashew, or milk of your preference
- ¾ cup of rolled oats
- ½ cup of water
- ¼ cup of coconut flakes
- 1 banana cut into round slices
- 1 mango cut into cubes
- 1 ½ tbsp chia seeds
- pinch of cinnamon (if you prefer)
- Nuts and seeds of your preference
- Maple syrup or raw honey if necessary to sweeten
Directions:
- In a glass bowl mix together, milk, rolled oats, water, cinnamon, and honey or maple. Close with a lid and keep in the fridge overnight or for eight hours.
- After 8 hours remove the oats from the fridge. Pour into two serving bowls. Top with mango, bananas, coconut flakes, nuts, and seeds.
- You can use any fruits and nuts/seeds of your preference. It is best to use local seasonal fruits.
Notes:
If you are using steel-cut oats, place them in boiling water for about 10 minutes. Drain water and then use them.
