Healthy Chickpea Snack

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup boiled chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped chives
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped rosemary
  • Fresh lime juice to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and toss well. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes and then serve.

Notes:

If fresh chives and fresh rosemary are not available you can replace them with local fresh seasonal herbs from your area. Dil and oregano go well. You can try with basil, mint, cilantro or parsley.

Enjoy as a side dish or a fresh snack.
