A versatile delicious creamy vegetarian white sauce made from cauliflowers which will soon become your favorite sauce in the kitchen!

5-6 cups
Ingredients
- 5 cups cauliflower florets
- 5 cups water or vegetable broth
- ½ cup of plain soy milk, almond milk, cashew milk or any milk of your preference
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp sea salt or as per preference
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- Other spices and herbs of your choice
Directions:
- Boil water or the vegetable broth in a pot. Add cauliflower and cook for about 10 minutes or until cauliflower is tender. Do not drain the water or the broth.
- In a blender add vegetable broth or the cooking water along with the rest of the ingredients. Blend for several minutes until sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Adjust the amount of broth or depending on the thickness of the sauce you desire.
- Depending on the size of your blender you may have to make the sauce in batches.
- Garnish with any other local fresh herbs or spices you fancy.
- Serve hot and enjoy with whatever you fancy. Toast, pizza, or noodles.
Notes:
You may add a bit of cheese. Vegans can opt for vegan cheese.
